Gustavo Biazzi was born in 1978 in Posadas, Misiones. In 1998 he moved to Buenos Aires to study film. He worked as a cinematographer on several films, among which stand out, The student, by Santiago Mitre, which won the Best Cinematography ADF in BAFICI XIII, Castro, by Alejo Moguiyansky, which won the Kodak Award for Best Cinematography at the XI BAFICI, The Animal Race, by Nicolas Grosso, A mysterious world, by Rodrigo Moreno and  Carancho  as a cameraman, by Pablo Trapero. 

He has made the feature documentary El remanso and directed short films: Flash, Basura and Mi consentida.

He is currently developing Los vagos, his first feature film.
